- Single-head flare
Single head flare is suitable for small diameter steel pipe flaring, there are two ways of manual and electric. Manual reamer is generally used for home maintenance, electric reamer is suitable for industrial production lines.
- Double-head flare
Double-head flare is suitable for large-caliber steel pipe flaring, using mechanical pressure drive, can realize rapid flaring. Generally used for large-scale engineering sites.
Second, the flaring steps
- Preparation
Take out the reamer and steel pipe, check whether the reamer is in normal condition and whether there is any damage. At the same time, prepare safety protection measures to avoid danger.
- Fix the steel tube
Use the fixture to fix the steel pipe to avoid the pipe shaking or moving and to ensure the quality of flaring.
- Flaring operation
Insert the flaring device into the steel pipe and perform manual or electric flaring operation according to the requirements of the flaring device. When flaring, pay attention to control the heating temperature and heating time to avoid overheating and overcooling resulting in flaring failure.
- Observe the flaring effect
After the flaring is completed, clean and polish the flaring place, and check the flaring effect with the naked eye or calipers, if it meets the design requirements.
